Sadia Hayat
Sadia Hayat is a highly qualified and experienced architect with a passion for creativity, experimentation, and sustainability in design and construction. She graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan in 1995 and later studied for a Master of Architecture degree from The Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London in the UK in 1997-98.
In 1998, Sadia co-founded Montage Designbuild with her brother Faisal Hayat, which has since become a renowned and innovative architectural practice. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and construction, and has a particular interest in sustainability and eco-friendly solutions. Sadia's skills and expertise extend to interior design, having served as Senior Interior Designer at Emaar Pakistan in 2007.
Sadia's leadership as the Lead Architect at Montage Designbuild has played a significant role in the firm's success and reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative, and creative designs. Her passion for experimentation and creativity in design, coupled with her technical knowledge and experience, has made her a respected figure in the architecture community in Pakistan and beyond.
Faisal Hayat
Projects Architect
Faisal Hayat is a highly skilled senior architect and the Director of Projects at Montage Designbuild. With a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan, Faisal brings over 22 years of experience to his role. He specializes in project management and has successfully handled various turnkey projects, demonstrating his comprehensive understanding of the entire construction process. Faisal ensures that all projects under his supervision are delivered on time, within budget, and with a strong focus on design integrity.
As a project manager, Faisal plays a vital role in the success of Montage Designbuild. He meticulously monitors each project from start to finish, paying close attention to every detail. Director Finance
Qaisar Mustafa is an accomplished financial professional with over 20 years of experience in project management at Montage Designbuild. As the Director of Finance and Procurement, Qaisar oversees the day-to-day management of the studio team, as well as the coordination between the studio and construction activities on site. His expertise in financial management, coupled with his knowledge of procurement from both local and foreign markets, ensures that Montage Designbuild is able to deliver projects within budget and on time.
Qaisar is a qualified accountant and holds an ACCA certification, which has equipped him with the knowledge and skills required to manage the resources and finances of the business. He plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the financial management of the company is in line with industry standards, and that procurement strategies are efficient and cost-effective. His ability to effectively manage financial resources has been a key factor in Montage Designbuild's success and continued growth as a leading architectural firm in Pakistan.
Liaqat Hayat
Technical Advisor
Liaqat Hayat is a highly experienced technical advisor at Montage Designbuild, with a remarkable 45-year career in civil engineering and building professions. He has worked on major public buildings in Islamabad, gaining expertise in all stages of project delivery. Liaqat's role at Montage Designbuild involves providing technical expertise and advice, drawing upon his extensive knowledge of project delivery methods, building design, and construction management. His collaboration with project teams ensures careful planning and consideration of all aspects, resulting in the successful delivery of high-quality buildings. Liaqat's expertise extends beyond building design and project management to infrastructural projects, contract management, and environmental engineering. This enables Montage Designbuild to stay innovative and sustainable in their building solutions.

My wife and I, as Overseas Pakistanis, had always dreamed of owning a house in Islamabad, where we grew up as children. Despite living abroad, we maintained a strong connection to the city through regular visits and close relatives residing there. However, the reality of building a house as Overseas Pakistanis seemed challenging, and we had heard stories of others facing difficulties in fulfilling such a dream. Luckily, we were introduced to Montage Design Build by a family member, and our journey towards realizing our dream began. Our initial contact with Montage Design Build was with Ms. Sadia Hayat, an architect, who played a crucial role in our project. During our discussions in December 2019, Ms. Hayat shared the unique concept of "Boutique homes" and how they differentiated themselves from other players in the construction industry in Islamabad. She not only possessed technical expertise but also had extensive experience in similar projects, which gave us confidence in her abilities. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020 brought unforeseen challenges, including travel restrictions that prevented us from being physically present during the construction process. However, Ms. Hayat adapted swiftly to the situation, conducting virtual meetings and utilizing technology to ensure our project progressed smoothly. We were amazed at her ability to understand our ideas and transform them into a specific design and layout, demonstrating her attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Throughout the construction journey, Ms. Hayat and her team maintained excellent communication and provided regular updates, including videos and photos of the site's progress. Despite the obstacles presented by the pandemic, we were impressed by the seamless coordination and collaboration between Montage Design Build and us as the owners. Ms. Hayat's expertise extended beyond architectural aspects, as she also guided us in selecting fittings, fixtures, and furnishings, making the entire process comprehensive and hassle-free. We are immensely grateful to Ms. Sadia Hayat, Qaisar Mustafa, and the entire team at Montage Design Build for their unwavering dedication and commitment to delivering our dream home in Islamabad. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to challenging circumstances were commendable.
